Gorsedd Bran

The Gorsedd Bran site is located in Denbighshire and within a Strategic Search Area as designated by the Welsh Assembly Government.

Despite its preferred location and contrary to the recommendation of Council Planning Officers the scheme has been refused planning consent. A subsequent Public Inquiry resolved that the appeal should also be refused.

However, following a successful Appeal to the High Court the decision reached by the Public Inquiry has been quashed.

Tegni Cymru will now consider the options available for the development of the site in contributing to the Welsh Assembly Government’s renewable energy targets and Policies.
